Donald Kenneth White passed away.

Donald Kenneth White Sr., 72, of Parkesburg, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at Chester County Hospital.
He was the husband of Frances Ann Winters White.
Born in Atglen, he was the son of the late Roy F. and Harriet R. Smith White.
He was a graduate of the S. Horace Scott High School in Coatesville.
He retired from the Embreeville State Hospital after 35 years of service. For 17 years he also worked at WCOJ radio station and Comcast Cable Co.
He was a member of the Mount Zion AME Church of Atglen, where he sang on the senior choir, the Mass choir and male chorus, and was the church sexton.
He enjoyed fishing, photography, detailing cars, cooking and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Donald J. White Jr., Eric White and Rodger A. Williams, all of Coatesville; daughters, Earlene A. WIlliams of Coatesville, Lorraine Y. Williams Jones (Calvin) of Los Angeles, Calif., Donita T. Bowman of Lancaster, and Letisha White and Vanessa Tooles, both of Coatesville; 17 grandchildren; two brothers, Ellsworth White (Mary) and Vernon White, all of Atglen; one sister, Dorothy Denson of Parkesburg; godson, Dwayne Perry; Kisha Johnson, whom he raised; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by two sons, Donald and Jeffrey; two brothers, Harold and June White; and two sisters, Vera White and Beatrice Coleman.
Funeral services wil be held on Friday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Zion AME Church, 404 Zion Hill Road, Atglen.
Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the services.
Interment will be in Mt. Zion AME Church Cemetery.
