'Crossed That Rainbow Bridge'
Joseph Klocek Sr., 71, of Coatesville, died on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, in Wynnewood.
Born on June 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen Kocek.
He graduated from Coatesville High School with the class of 1956.
He served in the U.S. Army from October 1961 to October 1963 and was honorably discharged as a specialist-5.
He then became employed as an auto mechanic for various dealerships, retiring from Hill Cadillac in Newtown Square in 2003.
He is survived by two sisters, Lucille (Penza) and Carol (Jolly); a daughter, Teresa (Prendergast); sons, Joseph Jr. and Kevin; and grandsons, Patrick Prendergast and Michael and Matthew Klocek.
He was known as "Sonny" to those who knew him the longest and "Bubs" to those who knew him best.
He spent his retirement years developing his woodworking skills, leaving a lasting legacy for his family members to remember him by.
A burial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, at Quantico National Cemetery, Quantico, Va.

Robert B. Kramer, 68, of Coatesville, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at St. Martha Manor in Downingtown. He was the husband of Rochelle "Shelly" Stein Kramer, with whom he had shared forty-six years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Morris and Minnie Goldhammer Kramer. Robert was a 1956 graduate of Coatesville High school, attended Penn State and Temple universities. He began his career with his father at the former Kramer's Drug and Sundry Store. For 30 years he owned and operated Kramer Medical Equipment, in Coatesville, until his retirement in 2002. He then worked at Regal Cinema, in Exton. He was a member of Beth Israel Congregation of Chester County, was past-president of B'Nai Brith, and a member of the Men's Club. He enjoyed card games, launching Fourth of July fireworks display in his backyard, travel, and boating in Northeast, Md. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Marc Kramer, and wife Jacqueline, of Downingtown; two daughters: Dr. Randi Braman, and husband Neal, of Owings Mills, Md., Leslie Kramer, of Sterling, Va.; and grandchildren: Ariel, Sydney, Madelyn, and Samuel. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Beth Israel Congregation of Chester County, 385 Pottstown Pike, Uwchlan. Interment will be in Beth Israel Cemetery, Coatesville.
