Laurento Pratt, 69, of Honey Brook, died August 2, 2007 at Park Lane Nursing Home at Bellingham. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Pratt, Sr. Born in Coatesville, PA and was the daughter of the late Louis Laurento and the late Mary Morris Laurento. She was a Customer Service Representative at American Institute in Malvern for twenty-five years and retired in 2005. She had lived in Honey Brook for one year and for forty years lived in West Chester. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church. Irene was known for her culinary skills, enjoyed gardening and swimming. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by son, Thomas F. Pratt, Jr. and his wife Michele, of Downingtown, daughter, Gina Pratt Applegate and her husband Mark, of Honey Brook, sister, Violet Ciaccia and her husband Joseph, of Coatesville, and 3 Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass, 10:00 am Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay Street, West Chester, PA. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery. We have met a lot if interesting people. Snork has his 22ft boat which we love. He does a lot of fishing and we enjoy crabbing too. Crossed That Rainbow Bridge Age 69, of Wilmington & Ocean View, DE passed away on Friday, January 19, 2007, after a long illness. Born in Coatesville, PA on July 9, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Markward. Martha was a graduate of S. Horace Scott high School and Goldey-Beacom College. She retired from IBM after 35 years of service. Martha enjoyed being with her family, reading, going to dinner, traveling and the beach. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Clarence D. (Buss) Shaffer; her sister Jeanne Ziemak, of Coatesville, PA; her brother-in-law and his wife, David and Kathleen Shaffer, of Berkley, MA; 2 nephews, David Shaffer and Michael Ziemak; 2 nieces, Amanda and Brigitte Shaffer; and 3 great-nephews.
