Rhea Allen Hart, Sr., 75, of New Holland, passed away on Thursday, February 28th at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Marie R. (Kita) Hart, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, Rhea was the son of the late Earl and Edna (Burrell) Hart. He was a 1955 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High. Rhea was retired 10 years ago from Burroughs of Downingtown. He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children: Deborah Mann of Downingtown and David M. Hart, husband of Nancy, of Coatesville; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Rhea A. Hart, Jr. and a brother William Hart. Memorial services will be held at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, on Thursday evening, March 7, 2013 at 7 PM, with a visitation from 6 until 7 PM. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

James "Go-Go" Edward Hines, 72, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2008, in West Chester. Born, March 25, 1936, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Richard and Stella Johnson Hines. Mr. Hines attended and graduated from Coatesville Area schools. He worked for more than 30 years in the Coatesville Area School District, first as a bus driver and later as a mechanic, retiring in 2003. Earlier in life, "Go-Go" did myriad things. While in high school, he ran track and played football. He was a tailor, owned and operated his own dry-cleaning business, worked at Lukens Steel and was known by children when they patronized his ice cream truck. He was always on the go; hence the nickname "Go-Go." He was a member of the Coatesville Branch of the NAACP. Mr. Hines loved to traveled, loved the blues and jazz, and played the guitar and a little piano. He is survived by one daughter, Karen Waters of Coatesville; three grandchildren; and five whom he raised as his own with his beloved longtime partner, the late Evelyn Marie Stroman: Kashante Stroman of Norristown, Robyn Scott of Ashburn, Va., Kevin Stroman of Coatesville, John Stroman of San Jose, Calif., and Deborah Stroman of Columbia, Md. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Adolf Hines, Argina Massey, Grover Ponder Hines and Leonard Hines. A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, July 23, at 6 p.m. at Milestone Events, 600 E. Market St., West Chester. Friends are invited to greet the family from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Interment will be held in Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Chester. Donations in his memory may be made to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380. Uplifting Life Services are being arranged by the DeBaptiste Funeral Homes Inc. of West Chester and Bryn Mawr, 610-696-4812. He was last employed as a manager in laser packaging at Cenix Inc., Allentown, retiring in 2002. Previously, he served as a consultant for Keystone Technical Associates and he also worked for Bell Laboratories, later Lucent Technologies, as a supervisor in light wave packaging for 36 years. He was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Rd., Reading, PA 19606. Also surviving are sons, W. Steven Holbrook, husband of Bonnie S. Zare, Laramie, Wyo.; and Scott C., husband of Ily M. (Duncan) Holbrook, Littleton, Colo. Other survivors include sisters, Lois Hanna, Kennett Square; and Jane Smith, Quarryville. There are also grandchildren: Cameron, Rhonwyn, Kieran, Aidan, Jocelyn and Jillian, all at home. Memorial services will be held at Schwarzwald Lutheran Church on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be Forest Hills Memorial Park. Owen H. Jones Obituary Owen H. Jones of Downingtown Owen H. Jones, 75, died on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Harrison Senior Living in Christiana, Pa. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Raymond F. and Janet Townsend Jones. Owen was an area resident all his life and a 1955 graduate of Scott High School in Coatesville. He was employed, for 36 years, by Bell Telephone as a lineman and more recently he was employed for 11 years by Somat as a technician. Owen was a member of the Brandywine Goddard Masonic Lodge #383, the Rajah Shrine, Life member of the West End Fire Company, the Parkesburg VFW and the Coatesville Moose Lodge #297. He is survived by two children of his first wife Joan McCarter of E. Fallowfield; Mark O. Jones and wife Kris of Ft. Mill, S.C. and Jill, wife of John Illes of Downingtown; two stepsons, James Fuller and wife Judi of Coatesville and Michael Jones of Downingtown; four grandchildren, Joshua Mast, Jason Mast, Nicole Mast and Trevor Jones; and one great-grandson Beckett Mast. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 24, from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment at the Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville. Margaret K. "Peggy" Mohr of Coatesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Samuel Mohr, Sr., with whom she shared 55 years of marriage this October. Born in Parkesburg, Peggy was the daughter of Dorothy Davis Kilgore of Honey Brook and the late Paul Kilgore. She was a 1955 graduate of Scott High School. Peggy loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and bingo. She was a member of the Washington Hose Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, The Cecilians and the St. Cecilia Cancer Group. In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Mohr is also survived by her children, Samuel Mohr, Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Wagontown, Marie DiPietrantonio and her husband, John Jr., of Lancaster and Paula Lepori and her husband, Arthur Sr., of Honey Brook; grandchildren, John DiPietrantonio III, Jenice Weaver, Arthur Lepori, Samuel Mohr III, and Sarah Mohr; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Hailey, Joel, and Katelyn Weaver and John DiPietrantonio IV; brother, Donald Kilgore of North Carolina, and many nieces and nephews. Along with her father, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Kilgore, Kathryn Beale, Virginia DeForest and brother, Paul Kilgore. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at St. Cecilia Church, 99 N. 6th Ave. (6th and Chestnut St.), Coatesville, where family and friends may call from 9 -10:15 AM.
